CRM Vendor Updates

Week of October 19–25, 2026

How items are ranked: this is our editorial view. Within each workflow, items rank higher when they are live today, remove manual work and need no extra spend. Beta, preview and early-access items rank lower, and unverified vendor or founder claims rank lowest. Each item shows its status so you can see what you can use now.

1. Capturing customer conversations

Getting emails, meetings, DMs and messages into the CRM without retyping.

1LightfieldImpact: HighLiveOct 23

LinkedIn message sync

  • Syncs the full LinkedIn message history for contacts with a LinkedIn handle, and you choose which conversations sync.
  • Jev can exclude categories of email and meetings, with a review and override step. Invite recorder@lightfield.app to force a meeting to be recorded.
Why ranked first: LinkedIn DMs are often where deals actually happen, and this removes copy-and-paste logging.
2ClarifyImpact: MediumEarly accessOct 23

Rep over email and iMessage

  • CC rep@clarify.ai or text it to ask about customers, deals and pipeline, or to send updates by text, voice memo, photo or attachment.
  • Access is by request through support@clarify.ai.
Why ranked here: it takes the CRM to where people already are, but it is not generally available yet.

2. Prospecting and list building

Finding the right people and getting outreach moving.

1NimbleImpact: HighLive in every accountOct 19

AI Search builds a contact list from a sentence

  • Describe who you want and Nimble turns it into segment filters you can see and edit.
  • Saved searches are dynamic segments that update themselves; tag them, set reminders, message, add to sequences or share.
  • No add-on and no per-search credits.
Why ranked first: it replaces filter-building for every user, and it is available now at no extra cost.
2OctolaneImpact: LowFounder demo, not on the updates pageVendor/founder claimOct 19

"Driver 4" builds an outbound campaign from a phone call

  • One Chowdhury says he phoned Octolane with a goal and hours later a campaign awaited approval in Slack: 1,000 lookalike companies from the top 50 closed-won deals, 962 verified emails and 1,000 sticker packs queued.
  • He says it runs on "Octolane Driver 4," a model Octolane trained on millions of GTM workflows.
Why ranked low: a big claim if it holds up, but it is a LinkedIn demo with no release notes yet.

3. Pipeline, forecasting and win/loss

Seeing what is happening in deals and why they are won or lost.

1ReevoImpact: HighLiveOct 19

Loss briefs for every Closed Lost deal

  • Written for every Closed Lost deal that had at least one meeting: main reason with a confidence level plus up to three others, citing the exact email or transcript line.
  • Categories include Pricing, Product Gap and Seller Execution, plus a weekly seller-execution report.
Why ranked first: win/loss analysis that used to take manual interviews now happens automatically on every lost deal.
2SalesforceImpact: MediumAdded to release notes; availability "later this quarter"Week of Oct 19

Momentum conversation intelligence and a Forecasting Agent

  • Momentum conversation capture and review, Executive Briefs, video-call coaching, key-field updates from Momentum insights and Smart Clips were added to the Sales Cloud release notes.
  • Pipeline Forecasting gets a Forecasting Agent.
Why ranked here: conversation intelligence and forecasting agents are moving into Sales Cloud, but production availability is still ahead.
3PipedriveImpact: LowLive (October updates)Oct 20–26*

Insights upgrades

  • Fixed currency for reports, period-over-period comparison, custom segment sort and a pipeline and stage dashboard filter.
  • Pipedrive dates by month only; the Wayback Machine shows the October section was posted between Oct 20 and 26.
Why ranked here: steady reporting improvements that make existing dashboards easier to trust.

4. AI assistants for reps

AI that answers questions and drafts work inside the CRM.

1CloseImpact: HighLive on every planOct 20

Chloe Chat is out of beta

  • Answers questions about leads and pipeline, preps daily meeting briefings and flags deals that need attention.
  • Drafts emails but never sends them, and asks for approval before it creates or updates tasks, notes, leads, contacts or opportunities.
  • Each user gets a free weekly allowance; after that it draws on the organization's AI credits, if enabled.
Why ranked first: an approval-first assistant becomes available to every Close customer today. Watch AI credit usage.
2SalesforceImpact: MediumBetaOct 20

Sales Cloud in Claude

  • 37 prebuilt sales skills. Needs Enterprise Edition or above plus Claude Team or Enterprise.
  • Signup through AgentExchange, pricing at GA, and a new "Needs Approval" setting for creates and updates.
Why ranked here: useful for Salesforce teams already on Claude, but still in beta with pricing to come.
3OctolaneImpact: LowLive on all plansOct 20–21

Faster tasks and Command K

  • Tasks get a due-date picker with presets, rich text, drafts saved per session, Undo and multi-select assignees.
  • Command K groups results into accounts, contacts and deals, with preview panes and the email or domain shown to tell look-alikes apart.
Why ranked low: convenience improvements that save clicks, not a new workflow.

5. Handoffs and service

Moving customers from sale to onboarding and support.

1Day AIImpact: MediumLiveOct 20

Post-Sales Handoff skill

  • /handoff Acme builds a handoff page: why they bought, promises made, success criteria, stakeholders, environment, risks, a 30-day plan and open questions. Shared with the workspace and never public.
  • Also a custom recording assistant name.
Why ranked first: the sales-to-CS handoff gets built from the deal record instead of from memory.
2Microsoft Dynamics 365Impact: MediumPublic previewOct 21

Contact Center Intelligence

  • Brings Dynamics 365 Contact Center's agentic features to any contact center through an open connector.
  • Customer Assist Agent and Quality Assurance Agent now; a Service Operations Agent is coming soon.
Why ranked here: service AI without replacing your current contact center platform, but it is a preview.

6. Data quality, admin and APIs

The plumbing admins and builders care about.

1ReevoImpact: MediumLiveOct 19

Duplicate control at every entry point

  • Admins choose warn or block and set scope filters, auto-merge limits and per-rule settings (Settings, Data Integrity).
Why ranked first: clean data is the base for every report and automation.
2BreakcoldImpact: MediumLiveOct 19–23

API and MCP updates, plus new usage limits

  • Inbox drafts and streaming reply drafts, link and unlink conversations to CRM records, an awaitingReply filter and more.
  • Oct 23: public API usage limits. Calls over the limit return HTTP 402 with the code usage_limit.
Why ranked here: more of the inbox is scriptable through MCP. Check your API volume against the new limits.
3CreatioImpact: LowLiveOct 22

AI Studio: reasoning levels, Feed skill, test runs

  • Set an agent model's reasoning level (faster and cheaper, or more careful), a Feed skill that reads and posts to feeds, and "Run once now" after creating a schedule.
Why ranked low: useful for agent builders, with no new platform version.

7. Deals and company news

Not product releases, but they can affect a CRM decision.

1SalesforceNewsAnnounced; expected to close in Salesforce fiscal 2028Vendor/founder claimOct 20

Agreement to acquire Braze for about $5.66B

  • Definitive agreement for the customer engagement platform, $47.50 a share in cash, subject to approvals.
  • Salesforce says Braze will strengthen Marketing Cloud and complement Data 360, Customer 360 and Agentforce.
Why it matters: it adds engagement-marketing scale to Salesforce, and nothing changes for customers until the deal closes.
2Day AINewsPartner newsVendor/founder claimOct 22–23

Charm partner program

  • Charm (sales and support for physical-product companies) says it moved onto Day AI's Context Graph and is rolling it out to its clients.
Why it matters: Day AI is starting to reach customers through partners.
3AurasellNewsFounder claimVendor/founder claimOct 23

Gartner Magic Quadrant honorable mention

  • Jason Eubanks says Aurasell got an honorable mention for Revenue Action Orchestration, and that it was not eligible for full placement (under 12 months GA).
Why it matters: analyst attention for a young AI-native vendor, as the founder tells it.
